Isle of Hope K-8.

This 120,000+ sf project is a new two-story self-contained building which was constructed in place of the existing school with breezeways. Construction consisted of masonry block with brick exterior.  The school has 40 classrooms, 4 science classrooms, a media center, computer lab, music and art rooms, along with a gymnasium, kitchen and dining area. The building is designed to house 800 grade K-8 students.

The Godley Station K-8 school opened its doors to the community and welcomed students of West Chatham County in the fall of 2010. As one of the district’s newest K-8 schools, this multi-million dollar, state of the art facility has drawn much interest in West Chatham. The school offers residents:

• A 167,000 square foot learning site with up to date technology
• A high quality media room, 74 classrooms
• 2 Pre-K classrooms with a dedicated playground
• 2 music classrooms
• 2 art classrooms

This new school houses 38 pre-K through fifth grade classrooms.   The project includes:

This new facility houses:

• 46 new classrooms

Additional features include a 32,000 sf gymnasium with team locker rooms, coaches offices, a multipurpose room, weight room and varsity level athletic practice fields.
