This 120,000+ sf project is a new two-story self-contained building which was constructed in place of the existing school with breezeways. Construction consisted of masonry block with brick exterior.  The school has 40 classrooms, 4 science classrooms, a media center, computer lab, music and art rooms, along with a gymnasium, kitchen and dining area. The building is designed to house 800 grade K-8 students.

As one of the district’s newest K-8 schools, this multi-million dollar, state of the art facility has drawn much interest in West Chatham. The school offers residents:

Courthouse Rotunda

Interior view of the CB King US Federal Courthouse in Albany.  This three story Federal Courthouse is framed with reinforced concrete and some steel framing at the roof, sheathed in stone with a rotunda entrance  Courtrooms are located on both sides of a central service core, with chambers and court-related functions connecting. Public spaces and waiting rooms serve across the front of the building. There are three circulation systems to enforce restricted access.

C.B. King U.S. Courthouse

General Contractor:  This three story Federal Courthouse is located in Albany, GA.  This historic three-story building with a mechanical penthouse is framed with reinforced concrete and some steel framing at the roof, sheathed in stone. The rotunda entrance expresses federal courthouse and is dignified and elegant, but modern enough to stand in harmony with its neighbors. There are courtrooms on both sides of a central service core and chambers and court-related functions outboard of these. Public spaces and waiting rooms serve across the front of the building. The judges chambers and the detainees restricted circulation make up three completely separated circulation systems that never have to cross.
